Danny and I were working on his letters and he was so proud of himself, I was really proud of him too. He is so smart!!! Often I ask him, "What would I do without you?" He answers, "Nuffing" How true!

Hi Rachel! Great blog. I'm glad you put the address in your Christmas letter! We got your letter and picture today---AWESOME. I grabbed the mail from the mailbox as I left to pick Kristen up from school today. She started going through it on the way home and opened up your letter. She gave me glimpses of what was in it ("125 degrees," "cruise," "Church on Friday," "Kuwait," etc.) It was all it could do to keep my hands on the sterring wheel and keep driving instead of grabbing the letter out of her hands! Your picture was GREAT!!! (I give you the official award for BEST BACKGROUND in a Christmas picture!) What an adventure you are having. I'm so happy for you. When are you headed back to CA? So, which is worse---Chicago winters or 125 degrees in Kuwait? I've about had it with the weather here....We're doing fine. Elizabeth was home for two weeks for Christmas. VERY fun. She's back at BYU. (Her blog is: www.ehollingshaus.blogspot.com) Everyone is back in school. I'm dealing with a twisted knee---Christmas morning, slipped down the stairs. Matthew is busy with work and church, as usual. Let me know when you're headed out this way again. Maybe we can get together. Any chance you will go to Scrapbook Expo in August with your mom?
