My Magic Hat

After a fun day of doing nothing we went to Borders Book Store. Right before we left I said I had a coupon for 25% off. I went upstairs and Danny started saying he wanted to go to the coupon. I tried explaining that a coupon is a piece of paper but he insisted that we go to the coupon.
We have a change cup that we keep and I noticed that it was full so I gathered up all of the money and put it in a bag. Danny found a penny and put it in his pocket. As we were driving to Borders he said he wanted to put money in the coupon. What???? Oh, in the cue POND. Right near Borders was a fountain and he and another little boy tossed coins into the fountain.
One thing you miss by not being here on Sundays is Danny's Sacrament meeting voice. He doesn't have one. I try to get him to whisper but he doesn't. Last week I gave a talk and in the begining he says really loudly, "Mommy talk on microphone."

Back to my story, we walk into Borders and he says very loudly, They have toys here. They have the train. In Provo the Borders has a train table that kids can play at. He was a little bit disappointed that there was no train to play with. We were walking around the kids area when he, once again, loudly says, "My Magic Hat!!" I looked up and he found a top hat with a bunny puppet in it. He told me he wanted the Magic Hat and I told he we had to talk to Daddy about it. It should have been no surprise to me when he started running through Borders at the top of his lungs saying, "Daddy, Daddy, where are you, Daddy, see my Magic Hat." Luckily Justin wasn't too far away.

While he was talking with Daddy he realized that he could ballance the hat on his head. Tonight he even slept with it.
