Right after we moved here we wanted something for Danny to do while I unpacked stuff so we bought him a little train set. Then my mom sent us another one that goes with it. The table and drawer to go with it was another $80 so we didn't get it. The other day we went to Target and I wanted to see if it was on sale. It wasn't so I got home and looked on Craigs List and found a table for $20. It turns out that the people we got it from were BYU Alumni and her husband graduated with his Masters last year and they are now moving to China and can't take it with them. It is huge!!! I would say it is 7x4 and I knew it wouldn't fit in my trunk so for an extra $15 she dropped it off. I was so excited that it was coming. I talked it up but he could care less. We got it and put it up in his room and there's almost no room to walk in his room because it takes up so much space. I immediately set up the train and spent maybe 20 minutes setting it up and then BAM!!! He wrecked it. AHHHHHHH!!!!! Needless to say I haven't made the tracks since then.
Now it looks like this, plus or minus a few things. Everything and anything goes on it and he plays with it a few minutes a day.

So it's a play table that takes up his entire room, and not a train table. It looks like you are ready for a playroom!
