Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Riding an Camel, Cruise down the Nile River, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, Papyrus Institute
This was the highlight of highlights on our trip. Seeing the Pyramids and Sphinx in person up close was really amazing. I had always wanted to see this world wonder and it just simply amazing to see the scale of this in person. We took lots of pictures and really had a good time at the pyramids. Daniel and Justin rode a camel together which was really fun for them. The Egyptians are creative at plying money from tourists. We were warned before getting off the bus about these tactics and so we came away fairly unscathed. We did end up paying a “facilitation fee” to the tourist police to get a picture on the pyramids.
